AC Heat Diamond Bar offers a comprehensive 20 point inspection of your AC/Heat system including:
- Replace Filter – with 1″ thick MERV 8, pleated paper filter.
Electronic Air Cleaner, 3″ & 4″ thick filters, MERV 10 on up, and unframed paper filters (e.g. AprilAire) are extra; - Check/Clean Return – area under furnace and vacuum accessible area;
- Check Indoor Fan Motor – for damaged/dirty fan blade/cage and brush off dirt from Motor;
- Check Indoor Fan Motor Capacitor – for MFD/Swelling etc;
- Check Roll-Out Switches – for tripped/by-passed/missing Roll-Out switches;
- Check High/Low Limit Switches – for tripped/by-passed/missing Limit switches;
- Check Inducer Draft Motor – for proper operation and noise levels;
- Check Flue – for sealed connections and size;
- Check Heater Operation – for proper sequence/ignition/flame and heating;
- Check Flame Sensor – for wear and oxidation;
- Check Temperature Differential Return/Vent – for manufacturers recommended heating;
- Check Condensate Drains – for proper operation;
- Check Plenum Insulation – for appearance and thermal insulation;
- Check Accessible Ducts – for damage, leaks, flow and ASBESTOS;
- Check Refrigerant Levels – must be 70 degrees or higher outside;
- Check Outdoor Unit Contactor – for burning/pitting and lock/unlock;
- Check Outdoor Fan Motor – for current draw and noise level;
- Check Outdoor Compressor – for start/run current draw and noise level;
